Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Our first official stop is a Las Vegas rite of passage—the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign. Grab a quick photo in front of this world-renowned landmark and let your guide snap the perfect early morning shot.

2
Stop 2

Next, we head into the desert to visit the colorful wonder that is Seven Magic Mountains. Created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, this towering installation of dayglow boulders brings an unexpected pop of color to the Mojave landscape. Wander among the giant stacked rocks and snap photos as your guide shares fun facts about this must-see art piece.

3

As we roll through historic Boulder City, known for its ties to the Hoover Dam construction era and its small-town charm, we’ll also keep an eye out for one of Nevada’s coolest residents—Big Horn Sheep. These wild desert animals often graze in a protected area along our route, and your guide knows just where to look for the best chances of a sighting.

4
Stop 4

You’ve seen the photos, now experience it for yourself. You’ll have time to walk across the top of the Hoover Dam, soaking in its towering walls, sweeping views, and fascinating blend of art deco design and industrial grit. Go inside the belly of the beast! This guided tour (led by official dam staff) takes you down into the Hoover Dam’s power plant, where you’ll see enormous turbines up close, learn about how hydroelectric energy is generated, and explore the tunnels that help power multiple states. It’s equal parts science, history, and jaw-dropping scale.

5
Stop 5

After your dam exploration, we head up to the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge—and what a finale it is. Walk along this massive structure that towers nearly 900 feet above the Colorado River for panoramic views of the Hoover Dam from an angle most visitors never see. It’s the perfect spot to end the tour with wide-angle photos and a newfound appreciation of this engineering marvel.
