Detailed itinerary

9:00 On the way, we will make a brief stop at Sagiridai Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of the Yufuin valley.

10:00 a.m. – Upon arrival at Chojabaru Plateau, you will receive a short lecture, followed by approximately two hours of Nordic walking and forest bathing.
The Chojabaru Plateau, located at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters within Aso-Kuju National Park, boast one of the largest intermediate marshlands in Japan.
The area is home to a rich variety of wetland vegetation and serves as an important habitat for waterfowl, leading to its designation as a Ramsar Site in 2005.
After a brief lecture on Nordic walking, participants will take a guided stroll along the scenic trails of the Tadewara Marshland.
The tour concludes with a rejuvenating forest-bathing experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the healing power of nature.

12:00 p.m. – We will then visit the farmhouse restaurant Bebenko, where you will enjoy an Oita Wagyu steak lunch.
The meal cost is included in the tour price.

1:00 p.m. – After lunch, we will head to the Kokonoe Yume Suspension Bridge for a sky walk experience.
At 390 meters in length, 173 meters in height, and 1.5 meters in width, this bridge holds the record as Japan’s highest pedestrian suspension bridge.

3:00 p.m. – We will drop you off at Yufuin Station, where you will have approximately two hours of free time to explore the area.
Please disembark at Yufuin Station and enjoy some free time to explore at your leisure.
You may stroll along Yunotsubo Kaido Street, visit Lake Kinrin, and we will pick you up later at Yume Hiroba.

5:00 p.m. At the Yumehiroba Square meeting point, you can also experience a Doctor Fish foot spa.
