About this experience

A unique facility in the heart of Dallas featuring something for all ages. Both indoor and outdoor areas. Entire facility is ADA accessible. Dallas Fair Park was the site of the 1936 World's Fair and Texas Centennial and Texas Discovery Gardens is part of the overall park.

Texas Discovery Garden is adults and kids can Explore, Experience, Entertain and Educate themselves, a 7+ acre attraction featuring a 2-story exotic butterfly house, insectarium, snake and reptile hotel, garden trains that traverse Texas towns and pass the model Alamo, Texas native and adapted gardens, outdoor native butterflies and hummingbirds, ponds and waterfalls, Playscape with sand boxes, rock climbing wall and rope ariel bridge and slide. The scenic Grand Allee and giant fountain are perfect for photo ops. Plenty of picnic table and benches. Free parking. Open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas 10-5.
