Early in the morning at 5:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali by the driver guide with packed breakfast, and embark on a journey through the "a thousand greenly hills" of Rwanda. A scenic journey of about 2 hours’ drive. On arrival at the park headquarters at 7:00 am, you will get in for briefing for what to expect, do's and don'ts of the hike.
After you will be allocated a ranger guide and embark on an adrenaline pumping and a life time experience hike that shall offer you picturesque views of a medley of primates like black & white colobus monkeys, silver monkeys, Mona monkey among others.
Upon reaching the summit of Mount Bisoke, you will have breathtaking views of the Crater Lake and unique scenic views of nature that shall immerse you with a sense of discovery. Thereafter, you will descend back to the bottom of the mountain, have lunch, and transfer back to Kigali for a hotel or Airport drop off.
This hike leads you into a rainforest inhabited by the endangered mountain gorillas.
