Konavle is the southernmost region of Croatia. It's an agricultural valley with a lot of vineyards and arable land rich with olive trees, orchards, and Mediterranean flora. This area has a long tradition of wine making, and wine is of importance for tourism in Konavle. Wines are complemented by a selection of local dishes. That's traditional, homemade specialties like lamb and veal with potatoes prepared under the bell ("peka"), meat and fish specialties grilled on wood, and Dalmatian pašticada.
Besides the wines, the Konavle region has great olive oil, honey, grapes, different fruits, and vegetables. These benefits allow local restaurants to offer fresh domestic products, and the guests to eat as locals do. Our 4-hour tour includes guided tasting in one winery in Konavle, a panoramic drive through Konavle valley, a stop at the Ron Brown viewpoint, and at one archaeological site.
