Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Begin your adventure with pickup from your location by our tour guide (if your hotel is outside the main area, our driver will pick you up). From there, we'll take you to discover one of the wonders of the world: the Great Pyramids of Giza.

Explore the legendary pyramids of the pharaohs Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, eternal symbols of a fascinating civilization. The experience continues with a visit to the Valley Temple of Khafre, where the king's mummification rituals were performed.

To close the tour on a high note, you'll get a close look at the Great Sphinx: the mysterious guardian of the complex, with the body of a lion and a human face, representing Khafre himself.

Would you like to go inside a pyramid? Additional entry is required, and your guide will be happy to help you with that.

2
Stop 2

Get ready to discover the only wonder of the ancient world that's still standing!
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, the oldest and the only one that has survived the passage of time, was the tallest building on the planet for almost 3,800 years.

During your visit, accompanied by an expert Egyptologist, you will have the opportunity to explore the entire area of the funerary complex, including the remains of the Valley Temple, which still lies hidden beneath the present-day village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although the temple has not yet been fully excavated, fragments of diabase floors and limestone walls have been found that reveal the grandeur of the original construction.

And of course, if you want to go inside the Great Pyramid and experience its mystery from within, you can purchase a special ticket. Your guide will be happy to help you with that.

3
Stop 3

The Pyramid of Khafre, the second tallest in Giza, is part of an impressive complex that includes the Valley Temple, the Temple of the Sphinx, a ceremonial causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king's pyramid.

Accompanied by your Egyptologist guide, you'll explore these historic spaces, where several statues of Pharaoh Khafre were found, discovered in 1860 during Mariette's excavations.

An additional entrance fee is required for those wishing to enter the inner pyramid, and your guide will be happy to assist you with that.

4
Stop 4

The funerary complex of Pharaoh Menkaure includes a Valley Temple, a processional road, a mortuary temple, and his pyramid.

Several statues of the king were found inside, reflecting the symbolic and religious importance of the place. During the Fifth Dynasty, a small ante-temple was added as an extension, demonstrating that the complex remained relevant even after the reign of Menkaure.

An additional entrance fee is required for those wishing to enter the inner pyramid, and your guide will be happy to assist you with that.

5

The next stop is a spectacular viewpoint from which you can see the six pyramids of Giza and the city stretching out to the horizon.
You'll have about 30 minutes to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and, if you wish, experience a camel ride through the desert. It is the perfect place to feel the magic of Ancient Egypt from above.

6
Stop 6

Did you know that the image of the pharaoh as a sphinx did not exist since ancient times?
Although two-dimensional representations already appeared at the beginning of the dynastic period, the first royal statue in the form of a sphinx emerged in the middle of the Fourth Dynasty.

The first pharaoh represented in this way was Djedefra, successor of Cheops. He ordered a statue to be sculpted with the body of a lion and a human head, a symbol of power and wisdom.
This sphinx was discovered near his pyramid at Abu Rawash, in the Giza region, and is now on display at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
