Starting from the village of Barisciano we will enter on dirt roads until we reach the lake of Santo Stefano di Sessanio. From there we will start the climb to the Rocca di Calascio, location of famous films such as "Ladyhawke" and "The Name of the Rose". After a visit and ritual photos, we will return to the base making the first stop in the historic village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Driving along the SS17 you arrive at the junction for Barisciano–Santo Stefano–Calascio, marked by a large sign "BARISCIANO". After the turn, continue for 650 m to the first intersection. The Hike Point is visible on the right at 40 m. Free parking in front.
