Beginning with an Art Deco heritage tour, we will drive you through Napier City and soak up the beautifully preserved Art Deco architecture. Led by our knowledgeable local guide who will tell stories of Napier's rich heritage, the 1931 earthquake and how it shaped the Napier we see today.

Then we will arrive at the breathtaking Old National Tobacco Building, an architectural gem and home to the award-winning National Distillery Company. Soak up the beauty of the building and peek into the Gin Distillery, where the Gin you will taste has been lovingly crafted.

Enjoy guided tastings in this iconic heritage site and learn about the craft of small-batch distilling from passionate local experts.

Meeting point

The National Aquarium is located along Marine Parade in Napier. Your guide will be waiting for you by the van. The Van will be marked Mates Travel and will be parked at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure
