About this experience

This is the most educational glowworm tour with the most close up opportunities with glowworms and lots of photo spots. If you are want to take high quality photos on a tripod, this is the tour to do. You get about 20-30 minutes in the dark with the glowworms, some close and some far.

The Starburst Cathedral tour takes deep into the Milky Way Glowworm Cave. There are 2 options of tours. The Milky Way tour is 1 hour, and the Starburst Cathedral tour continues deeper than the Milky Way tour. The Starburst Cathedral offers twice the time in the cave, twice the information, twice the glowworms, better photo opportunities, particularly for tripods. Starburst Cathedral Tour is not suitable for young children due to the time in the cave. The tour starts with a 300m to the cave on an easy access gravel path through the forest and rocks, down 30 steps into the cave and then walk 250m into the cave on a concrete path. Return the same path after the tour.
