After crossing the Curonian Lagoon from Nida and reaching Ventė Cape Ornithological Station our accredited tour guide will pick you up at the Ventė Cape Lighhouse, the oldest lighthouse in Lithuania. There you will give you an introduction to this place, will talk about the migration routes of birds. He will introduce you to bird ringing and, if you have luck, will show you how the birds are actually being ringed. You will be able to buy some souvenirs at the station. You will be able to go inside of the Ventė Cape Lighthouse as well.
On the boat you will pass Mingė Village, so called "Venice of Lithuania", where charming riverside homes, boats and yachts line the water channels, and life flows with the rhythm of the MInija river.
