Our Captain will meet you at centennial hall to usher you down aboard our Hewescraft. On the boat we will teach you about Sitka and Baranof Island and the unique natural and cultural features. The area is rich in history behind with the Tglingit natives, the first Russian settlers who made Sitka the capital of Alaska when they settled here. From there we will find and learn about the local wildlife such as sea lions, otters, whales, eagles, and bears.

We meet our guests right at the docks near centennial Hall where the cruise ship buses drop people off. There is a large net shed that looks like a gazebo looking over the marina, which is where we have signs for Sitka Safari.
