Detailed itinerary

Located at No.292 Changjiang Road in Nanjing, the Nanjing Presidential Palace now serves as the Museum of Modern Chinese History. With over 600 years of history, this site has repeatedly functioned as the political and military hub of China, witnessing pivotal historical events and housing influential figures. The architectural complex, blending traditional Chinese gardens with Western-style buildings, stands as a crucial historical site of modern China.

Notice
- Peak seasons: Extremely popular during holidays; full-day visits are recommended.
- Closure policy: Closed on Mondays (except public holidays).
- Alternative arrangements: If tickets are unavailable or due to closures, visits will be redirected to Yuhuatai Memorial Park. A refund will be provided.

2

The Zhongshan Mausoleum Scenic Area comprises architectural complexes such as the Bo'ai Archway, Processional Path, Mausoleum Gate, Stele Pavilion, Memorial Hall, and Tomb Chamber. As the mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the entrance bears his handwritten calligraphy "博爱" (Bo'ai, meaning "Universal Love") in gilded characters. The entire ensemble follows a north-south axial alignment along the mountain terrain, forming a symbolic "freedom bell" layout to commemorate Sun Yat-sen's vision of awakening the Chinese people.

Notice
- Monday closures: The area inside the Mausoleum Gate (including the Memorial Hall and Tomb Chamber) is closed on Mondays for maintenance. Visitors may explore the Bo'ai Square, Xiaojing Ding (Filial Piety Cauldron), and the Processional Path instead.

3

Located on Xiaohong Hill, east of Square City in the Zhongshan Scenic Area of Nanjing's Xuanwu District, Meiling Palace is renowned as the "Premier Villa of the Far East".

The main building is a three-story, double-eaved mountain-style palace blending traditional Chinese architectural elements (e.g., green glazed tiles, upturned eaves) with Western modern techniques (e.g., arched windows, marble floors).

Surrounded by lush phoenix trees and seasonal blooms, the palace offers panoramic views of Nanjing. From above, its layout resembles a "necklace" of tree-lined paths encircling the structure, with the green-tiled roof forming the "gem" .

Notice:
- April Closure: Temporarily replaced by Music Satge. Adults receive a complimentary ticket for Music Stage, while children’s tickets exclude this substitution.

4

Niushou Mountain, also known as Tianque Mountain (Heavenly Gate Mountain), derives its name from its twin peaks resembling a bull's horns.

Highlights
- Cultural Legacy: Blends Buddhist architecture (e.g., Hongjue Temple) with imperial hunting grounds from the Six Dynasties.
- Natural Beauty: Ancient pines, seasonal wildflowers, and the 16-km Buddha's Halo Scenic Trail offering panoramic views.

Notice
- Size & Accessibility: The expansive park (30 km²) recommends optional use of on-site shuttle buses (¥20/person) to optimize time.
Note: Shuttle rides do not include guided commentary; unified explanations are provided at key sites.
- Recommended Strategy: Use shuttles if fatigued, but prioritize walking routes near core attractions (e.g., Underground Palace of Universal Wisdom).

5
