About this experience

After freshening up at Finca Don Tricia’s restrooms and getting ready for the adventure, we set off on an exciting drive through old trails, crossing the breathtaking savannah landscape. Along the way, you'll pass ancient trees, vast livestock fields, and small agricultural plots while keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, deer, raccoons, coatis, birds & more.
Perfect mix of adrenaline and nature, allowing you to reconnect with the environment and its wildlife. As we journey through the mountains, you'll navigate scenic trails and cross small creeks before reaching the stunning Tizate River, where crystal-clear waters invite you to take a refreshing swim. The peaceful sounds of the river and surrounding wildlife make for a breathtaking break.
After this rejuvenating stop, we continue the journey, completing the route back. To top off the adventure, you’ll have the chance to unwind by the pool, making for the perfect ending to this thrilling ATV experience.

Detailed itinerary

Your adventure begins at Finca Don Tricia, located in Cañas Dulces. Upon arrival at the meeting point, guests will have access to restrooms and changing facilities to prepare for the ATV experience. Before starting, all participants must sign a liability waiver. We provide safety equipment, including helmets, and a brief orientation where our certified guides will explain how to operate the ATV safely.
Once everyone is ready, we set off from Finca Don Tricia, traveling through scenic old trails lined with trees, and exploring the vast Guanacaste savannah. Along the way, you'll witness a diverse landscape, from lush green mountains to dry forest and rainforest terrain. Immerse yourself in the authentic Costa Rican experience as you navigate through rural landscapes and encounter rich wildlife, eventually reaching a natural freshwater river pool where you can relax and enjoy nature.

From Liberia, drive along Highway #1 for about 15 minutes. Turn right onto the Cañas Dulces road. Continue driving for 10 minutes, following the signs. Finca DonTricia is located just 300 meters north of the Cañas Dulces cemetery.
