After Finca DonTricia restrooms and getting ready for the adventure, we set off on an exciting drive through old trails, crossing the breathtaking savannah landscape. Along the way, you'll pass ancient trees, vast livestock fields, and small agricultural plots while keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as monkeys, iguanas, deer, raccoons, coatis, a variety of birds, and more
This experience is the perfect mix of adrenaline and nature, allowing you to reconnect with the environment and its wildlife. As we journey through the mountains, you'll navigate scenic trails and cross small creeks. Here, you can relax, enjoy fresh fruit, hydrate, and immerse yourself in an authentic Costa Rican tradition.

This one-of-a-kind adventure lets you explore the breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica aboard a side-by-side off-road vehicle. Journey through diverse scenery—including savannahs, dry forests, rainforests, and charming rural villages—while following historic trails that lead to pristine freshwater rivers where you can cool off in nature. All of this unfolds against the backdrop of the active Rincón de la Vieja Volcano.
The experience begins at Finca DonTricia in Cañas Dulces, where we set off on a one-hour ride through scenic backroads lined with ancient trees and local wildlife. Keep an eye out for squirrels, white-tailed deer, coatis, raccoons, anteaters, eagles, hawks, and more.

After an exhilarating ride, we arrive at Poza Los Coyotes, a stunning natural river pool. Here, we’ll grab tubes to float peacefully down the river, take refreshing dips, and even enjoy thrilling jumps into crystal-clear waters.
For an even more unforgettable experience, we’ll embark on a short 10-minute hike to a hidden section of the river, where we’ll swim through a mystical cave. This magical spot, nestled deep in the mountains of Rincón de la Vieja, is a true hidden gem—an awe-inspiring place that perfectly captures the raw beauty of Costa Rica.

From Liberia, drive along Highway #1 for about 15 minutes. Turn right onto the Cañas Dulces road. Continue driving for 10 minutes, following the signs. Finca DonTricia is located just 300 meters north of the Cañas Dulces cemetery.
