We’ll kick things off at a cozy local tavern—one that perfectly captures the spirit of Madrid through both its flavors and atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where locals gather for a quick tapa and a glass of vermouth before lunch. We’ll take a moment to get to know each other while enjoying a homemade Spanish tortilla paired with a glass of house vermouth (as well as a surprise side dish!)—the perfect way to ease into the experience.

We’ll step into Madrid’s oldest neighborhood, a place full of rich cultural heritage and vibrant local life. As we walk, we’ll uncover what makes Lavapiés so unique—its history, its diversity, and how it stands apart from the more touristic parts of the city. Along the way, we’ll pause to enjoy a glass of Crianza wine, perfectly paired with a Spanish classic: Gildas—savory skewers that come in more than 15 delicious variations.
