Detailed itinerary

1

We will start the day by driving to rural communities located an hour south of Mérida. During this experience, we will visit four different cenotes, with a break halfway through the day for a traditional lunch. Throughout the tour, we will explore cenotes managed by local communities, and the entrance fees go directly to them to support their livelihoods. Some of the communities we will visit are quite remote, with only a few inhabitants, and we will travel on dirt roads to reach them. However, it will be completely worth it. These cenotes are not the typical tourist sites; they are more rustic and have been preserved in their original natural state.

2

Discover four stunning cenotes—two open and two cave cenotes—each with its own unique charm and atmosphere.
• Swim in crystal-clear turquoise waters surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and tropical birds.
• Visit 4 hidden cenotes managed by local communities, far from the tourist crowds.
• Enjoy a traditional Yucatecan meal prepared by locals midway through the experience.
• Dive into adventure at a cenote with jumping platforms of 3 and 10 meters.
• Marvel at impressive stalactites and stalagmites in a cave cenote of extraordinary beauty.
• Explore a cenote featured in music videos and visited by artists, known for its natural lush setting.
• Feel the mystical energy of the Mayan underworld as you gaze into deep, sacred waters.

What's not included

Cenotes Entrance Fees: 400 pesos (ONLY CASH) in total per person. Each cenote costs 100 pesos.
