Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Start driving among the black beach of Perissa and after a short stop at the monument of the ancient monastery take the first information from our guide about the island names, now and the past, after that take the ancient road that connects the beach with the Emporeio village!

2

We enter the village from the east side where we can have the best view of the old Venetian castle which included all the village centuries ago, informations about the castles are given, after we drive inside the heart of the village where we witness the old defensive tower that stands beside the castle

3

3 driving routes & 2 hidden spots! 2 fun part driving using 4wd function is included here! We include as Pyrgos this highlight but there are more than 3 different and magnificent spots, first we enter the mountain from a secret entrance in order to drive through the pumice valleys of it, we exit in a spot that you have the first view of the other side and after we head for the best spot of the mountain, a 240 panoramic view, this spot is isolated and always quite, in these 2 spots Kostas will take few minutes of your time to finish all the history routes that started so far plus how the volcanos of the island changed the landscapes so many times through the millenniums, after, we visit the village of Pyrgos where we will pass from its center!

4

After Pyrgos we enter in another hidden route, it can lead us all the way south until the caldera of Akrotiri, 4wd again for another off-road, we will drive this time through the old vineyard fields of Megalochori and we will see the old village panoramically with akrotiri behind it as we move south!

5

We reached Akrotiri’s caldera after a trail that even locals don’t know, we saw the biggest vineyard basket aged 80 years old and now we drive through the center of Akrotiri village where we see another Venetian castle!

6
Stop 6

We reached Akrotiri and is not possible to avoid the most stunning beach! The red beach of the island!

7

3 different routes here! 1 that only atv can access, 1 for fun driving part and 1 through the volcanic structures of vlychada’s pumice stone giant walls! After the red beach which was amazing we have to return for vlychada but we will not use the same road, there is a hidden path again which connect the red beach with Eros beach!

8

Here we witness an amazing isolated beach, off course we will spent some time here, on the morning program, time for a short swim is available or for a coffee

9

Our sunset spot, stunning and quiet sunset in a beautiful spot, it is far from the touristic areas like all the places we visit, so, we enjoy our sunset there almost always in privacy (on the morning is a pass by place)
