We will pick you up at your hotel in downtown Chengdu and transfer to Leshan Downtown or Giant Buddha Temple.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Giant Buddha Temple package, we will depart at 8am and go to the Giant Buddha Temple.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Huanglongxi Ancient Town package, we will depart at 9:30 and go to the snack street in Downtown Leshan.

Leshan is famous for its Giant Buddhas and gourmet snacks, this place is the most famous snack street in Leshan. Many Chengdu people even make a special trip here on weekends to find delicious food.
Because there are so many kinds of food in Leshan, lunch is not included in our packages. You can try your favorite food in the food street according to your preferences.
After lunch, you can have a short walk at the Leshan Winter Swimming Plaza next to it, where can overlook the Leshan Giant Buddha.

Stop 3

Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, is an 8th-century marvel. Standing at a towering 71 meters, it's the world's tallest stone Buddha.
Carved from red sandstone, it sits at the confluence of the Min, Qingyi, and Dadu rivers. The project, led by Monk Haitong, took 90 years to complete. The Buddha's features are remarkable, with 27-foot-long fingers and 23-foot-long ears. Despite facing pollution and weathering, restoration efforts keep it grand. A must-visit for its cultural and historical significance!
You can choose a walking tour (about 3 hours) or a boat tour (about 1.5 hours) according to your physical strength and communicate with the guide. One of the scenic spot tickets or cruise tickets is included in the package.
It is important to note that the Leshan Government is renovating the right side of the Giant Buddha before April 30, 2025. Part of the Giant Buddha will be obscured by construction facilities. It may affect your visiting experience.

Stop 4

Huanglongxi Ancient Town, with a history of over 2,100 years, is located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. On the only way from Leshan to Chengdu. It features well-preserved Ming and Qing architectures, including seven ancient streets. With three temples in the central street and many cultural relics, it's a great place to experience Chinese traditional culture. It's also famous for its folk activities like the Fire Dragon Dance.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Giant Buddha Temple package, we will not visit here.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Huanglongxi Ancient Town package, We will visit the ancient town in the evening, enjoy the beautiful sunset and the night view of the ancient town, and then return to Chengdu.

We will transfer you back to your hotel in Chengdu, or any restaurant you specify in downtown Chengdu, so that you can enjoy your own dinner.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Giant Buddha Temple package, We are expected arrived in downtown Chengdu at about 6pm.
If you choose the Leshan Giant Buddha + Huanglongxi Ancient Town package, We are expected arrived in downtown Chengdu at about 8pm.
