About this experience

This guided experience includes a visit to a biodynamic and organic farm and to its surrounding forests. The peaceful Majvik community is located only 20 minutes from Helsinki Itäkeskus, in the beautiful countryside of Sipoo.

As we walk through the tranquil forests and lush pastures, you will gain an insightful overview of biodynamic practices and how the community is working to restore traditional Finnish landscapes, to support and preserve local wildlife. Along the way, you will have the chance to meet the friendly cows and the chickens.

Take a moment to connect with nature, while the guide introduces you to the fascinating plants, mushrooms, and berries that thrive in this beautiful environment. We will have our break at a traditional forest shelter where you will enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch made with fresh ingredients from the farm. After lunch we will slowly make our way back to the farm, where the tour ends.

We will have our break at a serene spot, tucked among moss-covered rocks and ancient lichens. You will enjoy a locally-prepared vegetarian lunch, served at a traditional Finnish Laavu shelter, with a warm campfire crackling nearby. The meal is made with fresh ingredients from the farm.
