Long Son Pagoda, also known as White Buddha Pagoda, is located at the foot of Trai Thuy Mountain, Nha Trang City. The pagoda was built in 1886 and named Dang Long Tu by the monk Thich Ngo Chi (1856-1935), whose dharma name was Pho Tri. The monk was from Vinh Xuong, Khanh Hoa Province. As a child, he participated in the resistance war against the French and then became a monk.
