Originally built in 734 A.D. by Bappa Rawal, Eklingji has long been considered the ruling deity of the Mewar kingdom.

Haldighati is renowned for the historic battle between Maharana Pratap of Mewar and Raja Man Singh of Amber. This mountain pass, situated in the Aravalli Range between Khamnore and Balicha villages, connects the Rajsamand and Udaipur districts. Located 44 kilometers from Udaipur, Haldighati holds great significance in Rajasthan’s history.
