This is an amazing and unforgettable tour of the Coast of Israel. Your tour guide is also an Israeli soldier in the reserves. We will see 5 major sites and learn about the history, archeology, architecture and culture of Israel.
We will see the Roman theater at Caesarea. Visit King Hared's Palace, and see the site where saint Paul was imprisoned. We will also see the Hippodrome, Latrinas and Roman houses. Afterwards we will go to the ancient port where there is the remains of a Crusader gatehouse and walls, as well as the remains of the Roman port. We will then visit the aqueduct by Caesarea.
We will see the ancient city of Megiddo. Here you can see the old Israelite Solomonic gate built by King Solomon of Israel. There is also the Canaanite gate. We will see the grain silo, the horse stables from King Solomon's time. There is also the ancient water system here as well as an amazing view of the Jazreel Valley. We will talk about the biblical battles and stories that happened in this valley and on this Tel. We will have lunch here at Megiddo.
We will visit the Behiam Gardens in Haifa but first we will go atop Mount Carmel where the prophet Elijah killed the priests of Baal.
We will end the tour at the Hospitaller Tunnels in Acre, as well as the Irgun Etzel Prison, which is the same site. We will then make our way back to Tel Aviv.
We will meet at the entrance of the hagana railway station in Tel Aviv. There will be a private tour bus that will pick us up.
