3. And you can also deviate from the tour schedule during the tour according to your interests.
4. Start is the "Domberg". At the beginning, you will receive a short geographical overview of the cathedral and the old town with the planned stations based on a historical map.
5. On the historic path you pass the former location of the "Dom-Porte" and "Commandantur" to the castle square with the castle.

2
Stop 2

On the Domberg, the former "upper city", you will discover many historic buildings, squares and lookouts with great views of the old town, the former "lower city" :
1. the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral
2. the former cathedral school
3. Cathedral Church of St. Mary
4. the "Stenbock House" (former palace of a wealthy merchant)
5. the "Knight's House"
6. the observation platforms "Piiskopi" (bishop), "Patkuli" and "Kohtuotsa" (courthouse)
7. the medieval gate "Kurzer Domberg"
Everywhere you go, you calmly find the perspectives for your photos and decide to take a short tour.

3

On old cobblestone streets, walk over the "Langen Domberg" through the gate of the same name to the old town with the goal of St. Olai's Church. On this route:
1. The medieval gate "Langer Domberg"
2. The “Süstern - (Cistern -) Pforte”, a gate of the old town with a view of “Domberg” and “Stenbock-Haus”
3. You can visit a small part of the city wall and 2 towers : from the wall you have a beautiful perspective of the former complex of the "Cistercian Monastery" : today, on this historic square there is an Orthodox church and the "Gustav Adolf Gymnasium" (also with a long history).
4. ES continues past the massively built "Meal Storage" and the "Ross Mill" (both medieval buildings) to the "St. Olai Church" (or St. Olaf Church). From the tower you get magnificent views of Domberg, the old town and the suburban quarters.

1. the "Three Sisters" example of large storehouses of former merchants
2. the "herb market"
3. the "Palais von Rosen" (today Swedish. Message)
4. the houses of the Blackheads -, Olai -, Kanuti - and Great Guild
