About this experience

The tour begins by visiting Monreale, an important Arab-Norman city. Located on the Rocca di Monreale, from here you can also admire the entire city of Palermo. The main attraction is the Cathedral, famous for its Norman structure, where Islamic and Byzantine culture come together to create one of the highest creations of the Italian Middle Ages. You can also stop at the belvedere of Monreale known for its breathtaking views.

The tour continues towards Cefalu where you can visit the historic center. Walking through the narrow streets of the center you can visit the famous Washhouse, used to clean clothes in the years of 1514.
During your visit to Cefalu you will discover the Cathedral, the medieval old town and the wonderful seaside coast.

you can visit the interior of the Cathedral of Monreale, famous all over the world for its mosaics. The most important of all is the mosaic of Christ Pantocrator which, with the light coming from outside, creates a breathtaking visual effect.
