We will meet at Basel SBB train station and next will enjoy a scenic 1.5 hour train ride through breathtaking landscapes until city of Thun

Explore the charming old town of Thun on a guided walk through its historic streets and unique elevated sidewalks. Visit the iconic Thun Castle for sweeping views of the Alps and Lake Thun, and admire the town’s centuries-old church and picturesque wooden bridges. Along the way, enjoy stories of medieval life, local traditions, and hidden gems.

Stop 3

After the tour, we will enjoy a scenic 1h20 boat ride on Lake Thun, surrounded by mountains and lakeside villages. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy lunch on board during the cruise. Please note that lunch is not included in the excursion.

Stop 4

After the boat trip, we'll visit the impressive St. Beatus Caves, nestled into the cliffs above Lake Thun. Follow the walking path through dramatic rock formations, underground waterfalls, and illuminated chambers as you explore this natural wonder. The visit offers a perfect blend of adventure and awe-inspiring scenery, with panoramic lake views from the cave entrance. The tour through the caves takes about 1 hour and involves some walking on well-maintained paths.

After visiting the caves, we’ll take a short train ride to the charming lakeside village of Spiez. There, you’ll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the town, with views of its picturesque castle and vineyards. If booked the Cheese option - the tour includes a delightful local cheese tasting. Please note that the cheese tasting is only available on weekdays.
