Detailed itinerary

We will start at Box Hill, where I will drive you up the famous Zig Zag road to the top of the hill. I will then take you to the best spots to capture breathtaking views of the Surrey Hills. You can also stop by the visitor centre to find out more about this special place or grab a coffee and cake from the cafe.

We will then drive through the small picturesque village of Betchworth on our way to Leith Hill

We will then drive the scenic route through English woods to Leith Hill, the highest point in Southeast England, where we can walk up to the historic tower for more panoramic vistas.

Next, we will explore the charming village of Shere and I will tell you about its role in classic films The Holiday and Bridget Jones. We will wander its picturesque streets and enjoy a classic British meal in a cozy pub or café (meal not included).

In the afternoon we will visit Silent Pool, a serene lake with a mysterious legend, and stop by the Silent Pool Distillery shop, where you can sample its world-renowned gin.

We will drive through Gomshall Village with it's charming waterside pubs and restaurants that we can stop by if you wish.

To end the day, we will explore Dorking, a historic market town known for its antique quarter boutique shops and local charm.

Meeting point

Trains to Dorking leave from both Victoria and Waterloo stations in London. Day return tickets can be purchased at the stations. Exit the train station and turn right and you will see me with a Nick's Tours sign :-) If you need information about train times please don't hesitate to contact me.
