Stop 2

As we drive to Higüey (approximately 1.5 hours), you'll pass through beautiful rural landscapes, including sugar cane plantations and local villages.

Scenic Views: Enjoy picturesque views of the countryside, with opportunities to snap photos of tropical vegetation and rural life.

The first stop will be at the Basilica, one of the most important religious sites in the country. Learn about its history, stunning architecture, and the significance of the Virgin of Altagracia to the Dominican people. You will have time to admire the art inside the cathedral and take photos.
