Detailed itinerary

1

Just 10 minutes from La Fortuna, Costa Rica, we invite you to explore the unique biodiversity of ANURA, a wildlife refuge currently undergoing restoration since January 2023. Previously a yucca farm and an abandoned cacao plantation for 12 years, ANURA now spans 3.8 hectares with trails designed for the whole family. During your visit, you can enjoy a vibrant lake with fish and caimans, a secondary forest home to sloths, and a variety of plants, birds, insects, red-eyed tree frogs, and reptiles. We don’t use feeders, respecting the natural flow of wildlife. Additionally, part of the proceeds from your visit goes to conservation projects to restore the region’s biodiversity. Visiting ANURA is supporting a more sustainable future and learning about our ecological restoration efforts.
