Since 1974, the Zoo al Maglio has fascinated young and old. The zoo is proudly home to an impressive variety of over 300 animals from 60 different species, from different continents. Get up close and personal with the majestic lions, playful monkeys and colourful exotic birds and be enchanted by their diversity and beauty.

Welcome to Grotto Fonti

Open since July 2024, Grotto Fonti is the new reference point for those who love authentic flavors and the welcoming atmosphere of Ticino tradition. A stone's throw from the Lema cable car and working and cycling routes our grotto offers typical and seasonal dishes, prepared with fresh and local ingredients. From polenta with braised meat to alpine cheeses, each course tells the story of our territory.
