The Ho Chi Minh Complex is one of the most significant historical and cultural landmarks in Vietnam. It serves as a memorial to President Ho Chi Minh, the great leader who led the country to independence and laid the foundation for Vietnam’s development.

By joining this tour, you will have the opportunity to visit various historically and architecturally significant sites within the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including: Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, One Pillar Pagoda and Ho Chi Minh Museum.

This tour also offers you the chance to explore significant historical sites related to Vietnam’s air defense campaign against the American B-52 bombers, the most powerful strategic bombers used during the 1970s. You will see many wreckage pieces of B-52 bombers, along with air defense weapons such as radar systems, missiles, anti-aircraft guns, and fighter jets.

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the most prominent site within the complex. Inaugurated in 1975, this imposing yet uniquely Vietnamese architectural structure houses the embalmed body of President Ho Chi Minh, allowing locals and visitors to pay their respects.

NOTE: HO CHI MINH’S MAUSOLEUM IS ONLY OPEN TO ENTER IN THE MORNING. IN THE AFTERNOON, WE WILL VISIT THE EXTERIOR OF THE MAUSOLEUM ALONG WITH THE OTHER SITES.

The Presidential Palace was the workplace of President Ho Chi Minh from 1954 to 1969. Originally built in a French colonial architectural style, this building once served as the Governor-General’s Palace of Indochina.

Located within the Presidential Palace grounds, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House was his residence and workplace from 1958 to 1969. The house features a simple yet traditional Vietnamese architectural design, reflecting President Ho Chi Minh’s modest and humble lifestyle.

The B-52 Victory Museum displays various artifacts related to the 12-day battle in December 1972, when the Vietnamese people and military successfully defended Hanoi against massive U.S. bombing raids. The museum features wreckage of downed B-52 bombers, anti-aircraft weapons, historical documents, and photographs showcasing the bravery of Vietnamese air defense forces.

B-52 Lake, located in a residential area of Ba Dinh District, is a remarkable war relic where the wreckage of an American B-52 bomber, shot down during the December 1972 bombings, remains in the water.
