In the Plaza de los Ponchos, you can stroll through the vibrant stalls filled with colorful textiles, hats, bags, jewelry, and leather products, all handmade by local artisans. You’ll have time to interact with the vendors and buy unique souvenirs.
Upon arriving in Cotacachi and after enjoying a delicious lunch, we will head to the stunning Cuicocha Lagoon, located in the crater of an extinct volcano. This is the perfect spot to take a leisurely walk around the lake while enjoying panoramic views of the crater and the surrounding mountains. We also have the option to take a boat ride on the lake, offering a unique perspective of the landscape, or take a light hike around the lagoon, where we can admire the fascinating wildlife that inhabits the area.
