Mindo is known as a paradise for birdwatchers. During the day, you’ll enjoy a guided walk with a naturalist expert, who will help you identify some of the more than 500 bird species that call the region home, including colorful hummingbirds, toucanets, and many endemic species. A truly unique experience for nature lovers!

We begin the day with an exciting canopy adventure, zipping through the treetops in the misty mountains of Mindo. With stunning views of the tropical rainforest, you’ll feel the adrenaline as you glide along several ziplines of varying lengths. It’s a unique experience that allows you to see nature from a different perspective!
Please note that Zipline ranges from $10 for 3 lines, up to $20 for 10 lines.

Afterward, we’ll visit the Mindo Butterfly Sanctuary, a magical place where you can get up close to a wide variety of tropical butterflies in their natural habitat. Learn about their life cycle and watch these beautiful creatures flutter freely among the plants of the area.
