You'll set off from Alanya Harbor and cruise along the coastline, passing by iconic sights like the Red Tower, the historic shipyard, and mesmerizing caves like Phosphorus, Lovers, and Pirate Caves. Next, we’ll head to the Dimcay River, a perfect spot to unwind! You can take a refreshing swim, relax by the water, and enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the cozy picnic restaurants with comfy sofas right over the river. It’s the perfect way to spend a laid-back afternoon!
Next up, we’ll take the Alanya Cable Car (Teleferik) for a scenic ride up to Alanya Castle, built by the Seljuks in the 13th century. It’s the perfect spot to catch a breathtaking view of Alanya, and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to enjoy a beautiful sunset along the way!
We’ll arrive at Alanya Castle, perched on a hill about 250 meters above the sea. From here, you’ll be treated to stunning panoramic views of the city, the Taurus Mountains, and the gorgeous sandy beaches. While the exact origins of the castle are unclear, you’ll notice influences from the Romans, Byzantines, and Seljuks. The castle we see today was built by Alaeddin Keykubat I in 1220. It's a fascinating place to explore with so much history to take in!
Next, we’ll head to Damlataş Cave, one of the most famous and stunning natural limestone caves in the area. The cave stretches about 150 meters and is filled with incredible stalactites and stalagmites that are over 15,000 years old. It’s also known for being a great spot for those who suffer from asthma, thanks to the cave’s fresh air. It’s truly a fascinating place to visit!
