Stop 2

The old part of Nessebar (previously known as Messembria) is situated on a peninsula and preserves antique Revival houses and churches made of stone and wood, and narrow cobblestone streets.
Nessebar is one of the fewest places on Earth, where you can spend your time under the thick shade of an Ancient Rome fortress, and at the same way feel the breeze of the Black Sea. The spirit of old times is sodden into the narrow coastal streets and you can almost feel the sound of galloping Byzantine horses, which used to race on the lands of Nessebar in the past. The Roman Thermal Baths, the stone amphitheater and the 40 ancient Christian churches are just part of the historical sightseeing spots, which pull like magnet towards the place.
After 45-minutes guided walking tour in the old part of Nessebar you will get the chance to enjoy the ancient town by yourself for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
