Muttrah Souq is one of the oldest markets in Oman, located in Muscat. It is known for its traditional atmosphere, where visitors can purchase spices, handicrafts, clothing, and local products in its narrow, lively streets.

The Al Alam Palace, also known as the "Palace of the Flag," is located in Old Muscat, Oman. This ceremonial palace was once used by Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said. With a history spanning over 200 years, it is one of six royal residences of the Sultan. The palace was originally built under the supervision of Imam Sultan bin Ahmed, the 7th direct ancestor of Sultan Qaboos.

Al Jalali Fort Photo Stop only.

Al Jalali Fort, or Ash Sharqiyah Fort, is a fort in the harbor of Old Muscat, Oman. The fort was built by the Portuguese under Philip I of Portugal in the 1580s to protect the harbor after Muscat had twice been sacked by Ottoman forces. It fell to Omani forces in 1650. During the civil wars between 1718 and 1747, the fort was twice captured by Persians who had been invited to assist one of the rival Imams. The fort was extensively rebuilt later.
