Scenic drive through picture perfect valleys and small towns leading into the North Cascades National Park.

We have the option to hike the short 20 minute "Trail of Cedars" at the historic town of Newalem.

We make a short stop to check out a very cool bridge overlooking the valley.

We stop at this less known and less visited spot and have an option to use the restroom and take a look at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center.

We take a 1-2 hour hike depending on interest, time, and energy. Our main hike options include: Blue Lake (~2hours), Ross Dam Trailhead (~1 hour), Easy Pass Trail (~1 hour),

Get out your cameras! An epic overlook that is not to be missed! This caps off our day and you can see why it took 20 years to complete this stretch of highway.
