Once you reach an altitude of 1000 meters, you will have free time to climb the volcano.
Access to the crater can be accompanied by local volcanological guides, available on site
The crater occurs within a cavity over 300 meters deep, a circumference of the crater rim about 500 meters long.
Visitors must wear comfortable shoes.

For Pompeii Excavations tickets will be delivered on the day of the excursion by our staff where , and the same thing for tickets for the visit of Vesuvius (please pay close attention for Vesuvius tickets because you have to print them and there is a specific time slot for visitors who can access the great cone of Vesuvius, there are no ticket offices on the great cone of Vesuvius so follow all the directions that will be provided for tickets. Access is allowed: - from 40 minutes before to 100 minutes after the time indicated on the ticket purchased, subject to the time limit of opening to the public.
