The Karnak temple complex is located in Luxor, Egypt, and is one of the largest and most impressive religious complexes in the world. Construction began during the Middle Kingdom period (about 2000 BC) and was expanded over many centuries. The complex is mainly dedicated to the god Amun and consists of various temples, sanctuaries and a famous columnar hall with 134 massive columns. Karnak is an outstanding example of ancient Egyptian architecture and religious art.

Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is located on the west bank of the Nile near Luxor and is a necropolis used mainly during the New Kingdom (c. 1550–1070 BC). ES houses the tombs of many pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. The tombs are ornately decorated with murals and hieroglyphics depicting scenes from the afterlife. The valley is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important site of Egyptian archaeology.

Temple of Hatshepsut
The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Saints"), is located in Deir el-Bahari, near Luxor. It was built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut (c. 1479–1458 BC) and is considered a masterpiece of New Kingdom architecture. The temple is embedded in the cliffs and consists of terraces connected by ramps. He was dedicated to the god Amun as well as other deities.
