Discover Capri Island with our classic Private Boat Tour, the skipper will let you spend a unique experience sailing along the coast of our beautiful island, you will stop for swimming and visit at the caves. The boarding and disembarkation fee is included in the price. The tour lasts 7 hours. The optional lunch at local beach restaurant will be proposed by the skipper in case you want to spent some time along the coast and taste lovely local recipes.
Blue Grotto is a must when you visit Capri Island, the grotto is located on the Anacapri side in a very wild coast line, once there the skipper will get the queue to let you visit the cave on board of smaller boats. The entrance fee is not included and is not guaranteed due to weather and sea conditions (18€ entrance fee/person - plus a tips for the little boats that will take you inside). After Blue Grotto the next stop will be in Baia del Rio with visit at Grotta del Cuore.
The Famous lighthouse will be the next stop after Baia del Rio, where we could quickly stop for a visit at the Grotta del cuore. The lighthouse is now only a museum that can be visited by land.
The tour will continue sailing along coast reaching the Green Grotto bay, where we will stop to visit it and admire the amazing clear water and the effect that the sun creates colouring the rocks in green, nearby there are few more little grottoes like the Sail Grotto, Grotta dei Santi, the 3 Systers Grotto, the champagne Grotto and the Occhialoni.
The boat will sail reaching the other marina of the island, Marina Piccola, an astonishing place famous for the clear water, lovely beach restaurants and luxury villas/hotels, on the very end of the bay the Faraglioni Rocks are a must to be seen during the tour, the skipper will stop for selfie and photo shooting.
The tour will continue arriving in the little bay of the White Grotto one of the famous cave with its incredible white rocks made of from white incrustations of calcareous matter upon its sides, and from clusters of white stalactites which hang from the roof and fringe the entrance, a particular one collocated on the top cave looks like the statue of Maria Madonna while praying. Other interesting spots will be seen from the sea, Villa Curzio Malaparte, one of the most famous villa of the island built on the top a promontory overlooking the sea, the Natural Arch, reachable from Capri town by walking along Via Tragara. Another little spot will be the Coral Cave once famous for being a place plenty of coral growth.
Sailing back to Marina Grande, the skipper will quickly stop to show you the Tiberius Jump, a precipice just under the Villa Jovis on the top of the cliff in Capri, where the ancient emperors, and specially Tiberius, the legend tells that he ordered to kill enemies and slaves pushing them down on to the rocks. Continuing the boat will stop to admire the statue of Gennarino lo Scugnizzo, this bronze boy sits on one of Capri's rocky cliffs, waving at the passing boats.
Please be there 10 minutes before the starting time and wait at main pier in Capri Marina Grande, the skipper or the assistant will contact you to give you precise directions to the meeting point. Please during the summer period wait in a shaded area.
