Directions (from Ōamaru): Head south on State Highway 1 for 35 minutes (40 km) toward Moeraki.
Directions (from Dunedin): Head north on State Highway 1 for 1 hour 15 minutes (75 km).
Access: Park at the Moeraki Boulders Café & Gift Shop and follow the marked path to the staircase leading to the beach.
From Hampden Beach Public Access

Directions (from Ōamaru): Continue south on State Highway 1 and turn toward Hampden. Park at Hampden Beach Reserve.
Directions (from Dunedin): Drive south on State Highway 1 and turn toward Hampden. Park at the Hampden Beach Reserve.
Access: Follow the track to the beach and walk north along the shore to reach the boulders.
