Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Housed by the ancient walls of the Palazzo di Lorenzo Manili, our Osteria Kosher is a little gem, true and authentic where the typical ingredients of Roman cuisine meet the dictates of the Jewish religion, with great care in the choice of raw materials. At this Osteria, as it once was, located in the heart of the Jewish quarter of Rome, you can taste some of the typical dishes of traditional Jewish-Roman cuisine, like deep-fried artichokes and truffle pasta accompanied by Prosecco wine.

2
Stop 2

Our restaurant located in the heart of the Jewish quarter in Rome is the only kosher restaurant in Rome that produces its own cheese. But what makes them really unique is how their cuisine captures the true essence of Jewish-Roman culinary culture. Their menu is comprised of recipes handed down from our grandmothers and forefathers. Here you can taste delicious margherita pizza and a variety of cheeses accompanied by a glass of local wine.

3
Stop 3

Our Gelateria, a one-of-a-kind ice cream shop that stands as the first and only kosher gelateria in all of Italy that has been delighting customers for the past 13 years with its exceptional offerings. Marlene’s Gelateria is more than just an ice cream shop, it’s a destination for those who appreciate quality and authenticity.

4
Stop 4

Our Pasticceria is a kosher bakery in the Roman Jewish Ghetto, best known for its sour cherry and ricotta tart and the Jewish pizza, a sweet bread filled with toasted almonds, candied ginger, marzipan, pine nuts, egg, maraschino cherries and raisins. The pizza ebraica was reportedly Pope Benedict XVI's favorite dessert.
