In the afternoon, you’ll head to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This quieter section offers a more relaxed hiking experience, allowing you to explore the majestic Wall for approximately two hours. The drive from the city to Mutianyu takes about 1.5 hours. To maximize your time and energy, you’ll take a cable car up to a midway point before beginning your hike, and descend the same way afterward. At the end of the tour, your guide and driver will return you to your hotel, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey.

Important Notice for August 20-September 6

Due to rehearsal activities, Tian’anmen Square will be closed on August 20 till September 6.
Tickets for the Forbidden City must be booked 7 days in advance. Foreign visitors without a reservation may try to purchase tickets on site, subject to the daily quota. While Chinese guides cannot accompany you inside without prior booking, they will be available to assist with audio guide rentals for an informative visit.

On this special day, your journey will include: a morning visit to the magnificent Summer Palace, followed in the afternoon by either exploring the Forbidden City with audio guide (if tickets are available) or enjoying an authentic rickshaw ride through Beijing’s historic hutongs. To conclude, you will climb to the top of Jingshan Park for breathtaking panoramic views over the Forbidden City and Tian’anmen Square — a truly unforgettable experience.
