Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Example Tour: Travel back to the Ryukyu Kingdom.
Be mesmerized by the stunning Red Lacquered gates and curved stone walls. This castle is unique from the Traditional mainland Japan castles.
Originally constructed in the late 1300s, the castle was built using rare Okinawan hardwoods, showcasing the craftsmanship and cultural pride of the era.
For over 450 years, Shuri Castle served as the political, diplomatic, and cultural center of the Ryukyu Kingdom, hosting royal ceremonies, foreign envoys, and governance that shaped Okinawa’s unique identity.
Despite being destroyed multiple times by war and fire, the castle has been restored over five times, with each reconstruction honoring its original design. Restoration efforts have carefully preserved traditional tools, techniques, and materials, allowing visitors to experience the castle as it once stood.

2
Stop 2

Example Tour: Enjoy a relaxing seaside break at Senaga Island, famous for its scenic ocean views and Umikaji Terrace, a beautiful shopping and dining area.

Savor a delicious Okinawan lunch with a budget of ¥3,000 per person at a restaurant with ocean views.

Take a leisurely stroll along the seaside boardwalk, with airplanes flying low overhead, offering a unique view.
Visit hot spring foot baths with a scenic ocean backdrop for a quick refresh.

Learn about the hardships of Okinawan civilians during WWII and reflect on the importance of peace.
Gain a deeper understanding of Okinawa’s past, making your journey through the island even more meaningful.

Example Tour: Experience Okinawa’s most sacred spiritual site, where the Ryukyu Kingdom’s priestesses once performed rituals.

Walk through towering rock formations and lush greenery, immersing yourself in the island’s deep spiritual history.
Discover the significance of Seifa Utaki as a place of worship, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural importance.
Stand in awe at the triangular rock opening, perfectly framing the distant Kudaka Island—believed to be the birthplace of Ryukyuan gods.
Feel the serene and mystical atmosphere, a stark contrast to the energy of Okinawa’s urban areas.
