After a scenic drive by the beautiful Frafjord, we will hike a short but steep climb to the breathtaking Månafossen (the region's largest and most powerful waterfall). After our hike, we will enjoy a traditional meal made from locally sourced products at Byrkedalstunet. This historic dairy farm has been converted into a hotel and restaurant, features its very own candle factory, and has become one of the most important tourist destinations in the region.
There will be time to explore Bykedalstunet and learn about Norwegian culture and history. Afterward, we will drive into the UNESCO Geopark to Gloppedalsura, the site of a famous WWII battle, and take in the majestic cliffs and stunning views over the largest boulder field in Northern Europe.
