Explore the charming city of Nuwara Eliya, also known as "little England" on a full day tour visiting all the main attractions which includes Single Tree Hill, Colonial Buildings, Lake Gregory, Victoria Park and seeing beautiful landscapes covered with tea, a contrasting view apart from other major cities of Sri Lanka.

Wilpattu National Park. Wilpattu is Sri Lanka’s largest national park with an area of 130,000 hectares. It is also the oldest national park which has been reopened after several years of closure due to the armed conflict in the country. A few decades ago it was Wilpattu that was known ahead of Yala for its Leopard population. A unique feature of Wilpattu national park is that the entire park is dotted with large sand rimmed natural lakes known as “Villus”. The Villus collects rain water and tends to attract wildlife especially during the times of drought.

The main draw in Wilpattu is the leopard and sloth bear. It is also one of the better parks to see barking deer. Wilpattu is bounded to the north and south by 2 main rivers, the Modara Gamaru towards the north of the park and the Kala Oya to the south of the park

3

The ancient kingdom of Anuradhapura where the foundation of Buddhism once thrived, remains after over 23 centuries, a revered pilgrimage center. The neighboring areas of Anuradhapura were inhabited from 1 000 BC and by the 5th century BC the city developed at a rapid rate. Emperor Ashoka’s son, Mahendra, instilled Buddhism in the 3rd century and the city is known as the capital of Sri Lanka’s Buddhist way of life.
Spend the day exploring dagobas (hemispherical structures containing relics), ancient palaces, monasteries, temples and shrines surrounding the ancient Bodhi tree. Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba is a stark white dome that was once one of the world’s tallest buildings, second only to the pyramids and a revered Buddhist site. It has been honored as Solosmasthana and Atamasthana, sacred places of worship.

4

It's a city located on the top corner of Sri Lanka, is a city that was kept away from the tourist trail due to the 30-year civil war which ended in 2009. It is now rising as a must-see Sri Lankan holiday destination as it offers much to do and it has a fascinating culture that is markedly different from the rest of the island, influenced by many traditions from South India. Jaffna has full of hidden treasures including the famous Nallur Kandaswamy, a huge Hindu temple with golden arches and an ornate (Gopuram) tower. The star-shaped Jaffna Fort was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century and it was later occupied by the Dutch and British. Jaffna Public Library is the symbol of the post-war regeneration. Jaffna Archaeological Museum has Dutch cannons and pre-colonial artifacts.

5

Sri Lanka is home to two Marine National Parks, one of which is the Pigeon Island Marine Sanctuary. The Pigeon Island Marine Sanctuary extends up to 471.4 hectares in total of which 9 ha cover the landmass and the rest encompass the coral beds which is the border line of the Marine National Park. The name Pigeon Island has come about after the hundreds of endemic Blue Rock Pigeons that inhabit the island. It is situated in the Eastern Province, north of Trincomalee, one kilometer off the Nilaveli coast; a stretch of beach known as the most beautiful in the island.

6

Sri Lanka’s second most ancient kingdom, Polonnaruwa, became the capital of Sri Lanka following the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993 AD.
