Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Iceland’s national assembly, which eventually evolved into a parliament, was founded at this site in 930 and remained there until the year 1798 before moving to Reykjavik. That makes it the original site of what is now the world’s oldest legislature in existence. Þingvellir has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2004.

2

Geysir Geothermal Area where the Strokkur Geysir erupts every 5-6 minutes. This Geyser is one of the most well known in the entire world and gives an unforgettable experience witnessing the pure pressure forcing the water to spew up straight into the air every few minutes. This is truly unforgettable.

3
Stop 3

A short drive away from the Geyser, the ‘Golden Falls’, Gullfoss, is one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in Iceland, plummeting 105 feet (32 meters) in two tiers into the river Hvítá. This is truly one of the largest and the most powerful waterfall in Iceland and in Europe.

4

It is optional in this tour to have lunch at the Geyser area or at Friðheimar farm, which is a country-style family run restaurant offering tomato based dishes from the onsite greenhouse and have a late lunch. This is truly a local and travellers favorite spot and offers a cozy lighted up greenhouse with fresh homegrown tomatoes and homemade bread.
