The museum's permanent exhibition, "Popular Art from Romania" is designed to represent all the historical Romanian provinces (Dobrogea, Muntenia, Oltenia, Transylvania, Banat and Moldavia), through a variety of heritage pieces: icons painted on wood and glass, ceramics, folk costumes, bark, fabrics for interior decoration, household objects made of wood and metal, peasant furniture, agro-pastoral inventory. The objects on display are representative of traditional Romanian crafts.
