Meet your guide outside the cable car station. Begin with a short scenic walk through Fira town, offering stunning views of the volcano and the caldera before boarding the minibus.

Enjoy a panoramic drive to the charming village of Pyrgos, one of Santorini’s most traditional settlements. Wander through its charming alleys, explore the remains of the medieval Kasteli Castle, and take in sweeping island views from its hilltop location.

Travel north to the iconic village of Oia. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into Santorini’s history and point out scenic photo stops. In Oia, enjoy free time to stroll through postcard-perfect streets, admire the blue domes, and browse local shops.

Next, travel to and visit Imerovigli, often called the “balcony to the Aegean,” thanks to its elevated location and dramatic volcanic views. From here, enjoy a scenic 15-minute caldera-edge walk to the next village, Firostefani.

Continue your caldera-edge walk from Imerovigli back to Fira, passing by the peaceful village of Firostefani, perfect for capturing postcard-worthy panoramas without the crowds.

This excursion involves total walking for more than two hours on cobbled streets and uneven ground. We recommend you wear comfortable non-slip walking shoes and protect yourself from the sun. In addition to the extensive amount of walking on this tour, there is a 10-minute walk from/to the bus parking area in Oia.
At the end of the tour in Fira, guests must be able to walk 0.5 mile in town to reach the cable car station. Long waiting and queuing time are expected to enter the cable car station during peak season.

Santorini is a tender port. There are 2 ports in Santorini, Fira Old Port (where the cable car is, which takes you to Fira town) and Athinios (ferry and commercial pier). Please make sure to take the right tender and disembark to Fira Old port and not Athinios, as you'll will need to take the cable car to join the tour (cable car ride is couple of minutes).
Give yourself enough waiting time as you might encounter long lines to enter the cable car.
For morning departure: After embarking on your cruise ship, we suggest asking the cruise ship Guest Relation Officers for more details on how to have a priority disembarkation to be able to join the tour at 10:00.
Afternoon departure is ideal for guests whose cruise arrives in the morning or early afternoon and departs at 21:00 or later — perfect for those who prefer a relaxed morning before exploring Santorini.
