Our excursion will start in the center of Salta, we will head south on the RN 68 passing through four tobacco towns. The first stop will be in Talapampa, a country place to rest for twenty minutes or so, then continue to Germany, a former railway village founded by Germans where five families currently live. In this village the magic of the trip will begin: the nature reserve Quebrada de las Conchas. There we will visit sedimentary formations of 65 million years as Devil's Throat, Amphitheater, Toad, Plaster, among others. Due to its rich archaeological and historical past, the reserve has numerous fossil remains. After a thorough exploration, we will visit a vineyard and taste some of the best wines offered in the region, including Torrontes. In the village of Cafayate we will be two hours.
