In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Dien Bien Phu City to begin the tour.

The Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, located in the city center, commemorates the historic 1954 victory against French colonialism. Opened in 2014, it features modern exhibitions showcasing artifacts, images, and documents that bring the battle to life, serving as a powerful symbol of national pride and sacrifice.

The Dien Bien Phu Martyrs' Cemetery, opened in 1958 in the city center, honors over 6,000 soldiers who sacrificed their lives for Vietnam’s independence. It is a solemn place of remembrance where visitors pay tribute to the nation’s heroes and their enduring patriotic spirit.

A1 Hill (also known as C1 Hill) is one of the most important battle sites of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, where the Viet Minh secured a decisive victory in May 1954. Today, it stands as a memorial honoring the soldiers who sacrificed for Vietnam’s independence.

The tour then continues to De Castries’ Bunker, the former command center of French General Henri de Castries, offering insight into the final days of the historic campaign.

12:00 Travel into the mountains to Muong Phang village, home of the Black Thai people and a key site during the battle. Enjoy a traditional Black Thai lunch at a local homestay, with time to relax and explore the surroundings.

After lunch and rest, we walk to Ban Kha Village, a key historical site where the Viet Minh command center was located during the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. Set on a hilltop, it played a vital role in directing operations and is now a meaningful place to learn about the historic victory of 1954.

Pha Khoang Lake, about 15 km from Dien Bien Phu, is known for its peaceful setting, fresh air, and scenic hills. Visitors can relax, enjoy the views, and experience local life before the guide transfers you back to Dien Bien Phu City, ending the tour at your hotel.
